Lead Pastor - Phil Wilson

Phil was born in Maryville, TN (pronounced “Murvul”). He actually graduated from Murvul High School, East Tennessee State University, & Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Each graduation was celebrated for weeks on end because the whole family deemed it as one of God’s greatest miracles. He and his wife, Sharra, who have been married 24 yrs (another miracle - just ask her), have four great kids: Daria (Goose), Isaac (Chief), Elijah (Big E), & SaraGrace (Boo or SG). In Phil’s spare time, he enjoys golf, watching football, golf, movies, & golf.

Student Pastor - Josh Lindsey

In the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred & seventy-eight, a child came forth from his mother's womb. They named him Joshua, but called him Josh. He would become a hero to all! To everyone who longed to be laid-back, he was their idol and he did not disappoint! After the completing his doctorate in neuro-physics, he decided to become a youth pastor to teach teens across the nation how to untangle themselves from the human knot. Josh was betrothed to Brandi in 2002 and they have a beautiful daughter named Eva.

Worship Pastor - Josh Hucks

In West Philadelphia he was born and raised. The playground is where he spent most of his days. He loved chillin' out, maxin', relaxin', all cool and shootin’ b-ball outside of the school. But when a couple of guys up to no good started making trouble in his neighborhood, he got in one big fit and his mom got scared and moved him to Lebanon TN, where he eventually pursued a variety of musical endeavors and married a really awesome girl named Allison.

Connections Director - Kelly Roberson

Kelly truly believes she is our most accomplished employee at The Bridge. In addition to being up for many prestigious awards, such as her self-proclaimed title of “Woman of the Year,” she won the most distinguished honor of best canoeist at Science Camp when she was 11 yrs. old. She thinks so highly of herself, that her bio was rewritten several times because of the extensive list of accomplishments she wanted to include. With all of her strengths, she has come to be known as the most high-maintenance person on The Bridge’s staff – there is not really a close second. If you don’t believe this, just ask her incredible husband, Jason, who has to put up with her.

Communications Director - Sharra Wilson

Phil had to move to Texas in order to meet the “girl of his dreams!” Little did Sharra know what an incredible adventure they were beginning! Sharra loves to quilt – when she can squeeze it in between her kids’ athletic events. She has started scorekeeping at volleyball to keep her from hollering at the officials when they blow a call against her daughter. Daria, their oldest has recently deployed to a field office in the Philippines with IJM (International Justice Mission). Isaac has headed off to North Texas to study acting, and Elijah & SG are left at home to keep their parents entertained.

Family Development Minister - Mary Stockard

Mary considers herself a native Nashvillian. Her reflexes & wit are kept sharp by the two men she loves: her husband, Jeff & son, Blake, who tie her up regularly and make her watch reruns of “The Office.” She now watches “The Office” and cries because it makes her think of their only son who has gone off to Eastern University. Also, for stress relief she climbs 60 ft. trees and is doused by fire trucks with The Bridge kids. In her spare time, she loves to read on the beach & eat chocolate.

Assistant to the Pastor - Tara Hinesley

Tara was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended James Madison University. During her time at JMU, she studied communications and was a member of the cheerleading team that won the NCA Collegiate national championships in 1996. Following that championship, she fell off the top of the pyramid giving her brain damage which probably led her to taking the position as the Pastor’s assistant. She and her husband, Coley, have 2 great children, Gracyn & Sutton, who never cease to make their parents laugh. Neither parent has realized how much their children will eventually cost them and at that point, will quit laughing. We think the denial of this fact is directly related to the previous brain injury.
